President's Message

Your first line (the Board) has spent a busy and productive summer contemplating the challenges we face as legal professionals and reaffirming our commitment to making SFLPA one of the strongest associations in the state of California. Our hard work has paid off and we have planned an excellent educational program, lined up great speakers for our upcoming meetings, and organized plenty of chances for you to network and stay up to date on what is happening in the legal profession. Keep in mind that SFLPA is a State Bar approved MCLE provider, and our seminars and the training course can help satisfy MCLE requirements for attorneys and paralegals.

Our Fundraiser is now underway as SFLPA undertakes its first Entertainment Book sale.  Books with discount coupons for businesses in San Francisco and the Peninsula, and East Bay are available by contacting me.  I will also have them available for a price of $30 each at the upcoming General Membership meeting.  Other areas are also available if you are interested.  Supporting this fundraiser will help SFLPA reach its goal of educating the legal community.  This fundraiser is definitely a team effort and I’m hoping that each and every member will help to make this fundraising event a success.

We are well on our way towards reaching our goals for Team SFLPA. I hope that you all will enjoy the benefits of being a member, including the opportunities for networking and continuing education. Remember, Together Everyone Achieves More.
